Parks, Gasoline Stations, and Apartments in Laurelwoods – Albuquerque, New Mexico

Laurelwoods has a number of parks, gasoline stations, and apartments we’ll discuss in this short post. First, a quick introduction to the area.

Southwest Albuquerque’s Laurelwoods lies on the northbound side of Interstate 40. In addition to being near Petroglyphs National Monument, it also features a Walmart Neighborhood Market. All the usual Walmart stuff is available, and then some, in Walmart Neighborhood Markets. Aside from the popular Walmart, the surrounding area is primarily made up of homes. The residences in the are subject to rules set out by a homeowners’ organization.

Laurelwood Park

The neighborhood enjoys the small size and convenient location of Laurelwood Park. Playground equipment is there, and according to Google reviews, it is properly maintained. Others have mentioned how nice it is to have so much shade during the hot New Mexico summers. There are picnic tables in the shade and a pleasant trail to stroll along.
